How to use DeepDip

Five everyday problems, and how DeepDip solves each one. Every part shows the steps in settings and a real alert.

1. Never miss a big move in your stocks

The problem

You own a few stocks, or you are waiting to buy one. Prices move while you work or sleep. When you finally look, the big move is over, and you do not know what happened or what to do now.

The solution

DeepDip watches your stocks every minute. When one of them makes a big move, you get a short alert in Telegram: what happened, and which prices matter now.

Steps
  1. Create a free account on deepdip.tech.
  2. Connect Telegram. Alerts come only there.
  3. You already follow two batches: US top 20 and MOEX top 30. They send you their major moves, free.
  4. Add your own stock: tap "Find a stock to follow", pick it, and turn on "Alerts on" for it.
  5. Choose how much you hear. "Major moves only" sends just the big ones. Turn it off to get every alert on that stock. A free account gets every alert on one stock.
What you get

A real moment from Monday, October 19, at 17:07 Moscow time (10:07 in New York), and the alert DeepDip writes for it:

AMZN ▲17:07 · free alert
Rebound off Friday's drop · 257

Up 3.0%, far ahead of the market. AMZN opened higher and is back above 254.73, Thursday's close, where Friday's drop began.

Short term

A run toward the 262-268 area and the 263.70 high looks likely. A close back under 255.26, today's low, would undercut the rebound.

Prefer numbers to a read? In the Statistical voice, Short term reads:

Short term

On 8 of 10 similar days, the close was between 253.22 and 261.55. The nearest marked prices are 263.70 above, the Oct 12 high, and 255.26 below, today's low.

What happened next

From the alert on, AMZN kept climbing. It rose to 263.72, right at the 263.70 high the alert had marked, and ended the day up about 5%.

One real example, not a promise.

2. Find a good moment to buy

The problem

You want to buy a stock you like, but not at a random moment. A good moment is often after a dip, when buyers come back. But you cannot sit at the screen all day waiting for it.

The solution

DeepDip tells you when a dip on your stock is being bought, and which prices matter now.

Steps
  1. Add the stock you want to buy, as in part 1.
  2. Turn off "Major moves only", so you get every alert on it. A free account gets every alert on one stock.
  3. With PRO, keep "Bounces" on and switch off the kinds you do not need.
  4. Choose the Trader voice if you want a plan: where to buy, a stop, and a goal, with how often similar days reached the stop.
What you get

A real moment from Tuesday, September 15, at 21:50 Moscow time (14:50 in New York), and the alert DeepDip writes for it:

JPM ▲21:50 · free alert
Rebound off morning drop · 347

JPM fell 2% this morning, to 343.07, just above the 342.11 level. Buyers have pushed it back to 347.00.

Short term

The rebound will likely test the 350-353 area above. A close above 351.12, today's high, would keep it going. A close back under 343.07, today's low, would end it.

In the Trader voice, Short term reads:

Short term

Wait for 345.52: a buy order there filled by the close on 22 in 100 similar days. Stop at 342.10, just under the 342.11 level: touched within two sessions on 35 in 100. Goal: 351.12, today's high.

What happened next

JPM rose to 354.68 and closed above 351.12. A day that was 2% down at midday ended higher. It never came back to 345.52, so the Trader's order did not fill.

One real example, not a promise.

3. Catch momentum as it starts

The problem

You like to buy strength: a stock that starts to move fast. By the time you see it on a chart, half of the move is done.

The solution

DeepDip sends an alert within minutes when a stock moves much faster than usual. Fast-move alerts work on US stocks.

Steps
  1. Add the stock, as in part 1.
  2. Fast moves usually count as major moves, so they come even with "Major moves only" on.
  3. With PRO, keep "Momentum" on if you switch other kinds off.
  4. Choose the Trader voice if you want a plan with the alert: a stop and a goal.
What you get

A real moment from Wednesday, July 1, at 17:14 Moscow time (10:14 in New York), and the alert DeepDip writes for it:

V ▲17:14 · free alert
Fast rise to the June high · 345

A fast rise: from 341.57 to 345.01 in 15 minutes, right under the Jun 29 high of 345.81.

Short term

The climb will likely test 345.81, the Jun 29 high. A close above it would keep the run going. A close back under 340.98, today's low, would undercut the push.

In the Trader voice, Short term reads:

Short term

Hold. A buyer can buy now, with a stop at 337.73, 2.1% below: similar days touched it within two sessions on 32 in 100. Goal: 358.62, the January high.

What happened next

V rose to 353.36, 2.4% above the alert price, and closed well above 345.81, up about 2.5% on the day. The stop at 337.73 was not touched in the next two sessions.

One real example, not a promise.

4. Hold a stock without watching the chart

The problem

You bought a stock, or you are about to buy one. Now you want to know what it does during the trading day, but you cannot watch the chart for hours. And when it moves, you do not know if the move is normal for this stock, or a reason to worry.

The solution

Turn on Focus for that stock. During the trading day, Focus follows every swing and tells you what the stock is doing right now, and what may come next: how it opened, each top and bottom, a break of its range, a test of yesterday's high or low, and fast moves. It measures every move against this stock's own normal day, so it also helps you pick the moment to buy. Focus works on US stocks.

Steps
  1. Focus is part of PRO.
  2. Open the stock in settings and turn on Focus.
  3. During the trading day, you see every swing on a live timeline, and you get a message on the key ones.
What you get

TSLA on Friday, October 16. A holder with Focus on got these messages:

On the timeline, the holder also saw every smaller swing of the day.

What happened next

TSLA closed at 354.65, down 2.15%. The holder saw the day turn at 17:10, when the second top near 370 failed, about 5% above the day's low.

One real example, not a promise.

5. Get alerts written for your position

The problem

An alert speaks to everyone. But you have your own price, your own plan and your own view. You want to know what today's move means for you.

The solution

Tell DeepDip about your position once. Every alert on that stock is then written for you: how much you are up or down, whether the chart fits your view, and an answer to your question.

Steps
  1. Open Personal alerts in settings and pick the stock.
  2. Fill in any field: what you own, what you paid, when you bought, what you want from it, what you believe, a standing question, or how you want it said.
  3. Every alert on that stock now comes written for you, marked 👤.
What you get

V on Wednesday, July 1, at 17:14 Moscow time. The reader holds 10 shares bought at 330 in June. In the note they wrote "the results at the end of July should be strong" and asked "is it a good moment to buy more?":

V ▲17:14 · free alert · 👤 written for you
Buyers stepping in · 345

V opened above yesterday's close, dipped to 340.98, then pushed back to 345.01, near the day's high.

Short term

Your 10 shares from 330.00 are 4.5% up, at 345.01. Buying more now means paying up after three up days. The July results are not on the chart yet; until then, a close above 345.81, the Jun 29 high, would show the climb is still on, with nothing marked above until 358.62.

What happened next

V closed above 345.81 that same day, and the reader's position ended the day about 6% up. The next day V jumped to about 361. By the end of July it traded near 366, and the position was up about 11%.

One real example, not a promise.
